Year 2013 / 2014
Libya Build show used to be held at the Tripoli International Fair Grounds with the stands spread out in the various constructed pavilions. After having staged the 0ther 8 editions of the show in these grounds, client now wanted to have a proper temporary exhibition venue under tent structures and located in the vast parking area of the Tripoli Sports City, an area of around 30,000 sq. mtrs. The major challenge for us was to import the Neptunus Tent structures in time for the event (order was made at the beginning of January 2013 and show was being held in May 2013) co-ordinate and project manage with client the rental of air-conditioning units and their installation together with all the electrical and plumbing works . Another major obstacle was to have the venue turned from a parking place to a exhibition venue and than reenstate after usage.
Libya Build show is the largest exhibition to be held in Libya with over 700 exhibitors on an area of around 30,000 sq, mtrs. 70% of the show was Shell scheme stands and 30% was Custom build stands. The venue included 5 wide span and pillar less halls made up from Neptunus tent structures, with a double decker Organiser’s office and VIP lounge in 2014, toilet units, Customs area, Mosque, storage areas, Security points etc. The Company provided total project management of the project which including the supervision of the shipping arrangements, electrical and air-conditioning works and through our Libyan partner Company, Pan Libya for Exhibitions and Events, we provided all the shell stand and the majority of the Custom Build stand structures.
Client pleased with results for 2013 and an exact repeat was held in 2014. Unfortunately due to the present turmoil in Libya the 2015 11th edition of Libya Build is being postponed.
